Trails

There are many trails throughout the park. Stop by the visitors center and pickup a trail map to see which one is best for you. To see a map of the trails in Makoshika click here.

Diane Gabriel Trail

The hadrosaur fossil and the bench at the top of the hill have been removed due to erosion. 

Kinney Coulee Trail

​

 

This is one of the harder trails in the park with some steep inclines and climbing over some rocky areas. If you are up to it, the views & formations are amazing!

Bluebird Trail

​

 

This is an easy grassy trail near the visitor center.
